Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 5, 2026

LensDue is developed by Sergio Albanese. The app is designed to work locally and does not require an account.

Data handled by the app

LensDue lets you store contact lens replacement settings, start and expiry dates, usage history, reminder preferences and prescription notes. This information is entered by you and stored locally on your device.

No collection by the developer

The developer does not receive, collect, sell or share your app data. LensDue has no user account, analytics service, advertising SDK or developer-operated cloud database.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, LensDue asks the operating system to schedule local notifications on your device. Notification settings can be changed in the app or in your device settings.

Backups

You may create an encrypted backup file and share it through a destination you choose. The backup password is not stored or recoverable by the developer. Any third-party destination you select is governed by its own privacy terms.

Retention and deletion

Your information remains on your device until you reset LensDue, remove it through the app, or uninstall the app. Your operating system’s device backup may retain app data according to your device and cloud-backup settings.

Security

LensDue relies on the security protections of your device and uses password-based encryption for exported backup files. No method of storage is guaranteed to be completely secure.

Health information

LensDue is a personal tracking tool. It does not diagnose conditions or calculate, recommend or replace advice from an eye-care professional.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the app’s functionality or data handling changes. The date above identifies the latest version.
